Climate and Ocean Science Programmes

Our teaching is enriched by our cutting-edge research, and our links with the National Oceanography Centre situated on campus.

Our staff are involved in leading recent IPCC reports, are part of the COP26 Universities Network, and provide government policy guidance on how the ocean is responding to climate change through the Marine Climate Change Impacts Partnership. We focus on training students in essential practical and data analysis skills for successful future careers. If you enjoy science, geography or maths, and want to understand how the Earth’s oceans and climate work, then we have a course for you.
